There should be no thought in anyone’s mind that Mr.Cade Cunningham is the best undeniably player and pick in this draft. He also has the potential to become a transcendental number one pick. He is the total package. Everything about Mr.Cade Cunningham’s game, just excites me. He has the potential to become the next ‘IT’ player in the NBA.
Now let’s explain some strengths and weaknesses:
STRENGTHS
- He’s the new build for NBA players. That being an tall ‘Point Forward’
- Has a high offensive basketball IQ, which contributes to him making great passes.
- He’s a great score. When he’s efficient, he can let the ball fly from three. He shoots 41.8 from downtown.
- Great rebounder for his position. He averaged 6.5 rebounds a game.
- Great leadership, even for a freshman.
- Elite at the Pick-and-roll offense.
- Can be apart of the new ‘position-less’ basketball
- All-around best pick for the NBA Pick.
- Cade has the ‘IT’ factor about him when he plays the game. The ‘IT’ factor is the ability to led a team in any situation. It is the ability to analyze any situation and produce positives in a game. He can lead, he’s a leader
NEGATIVES
- Decent on the defensive side of the ball.
- Not that athletic as he should be.
- Not a lot of negative in my eyes about Cade Cunningham.
- Needs to improve his athleticism more.
NBA COMPARISON/ PROJECTION
Possibly another transcendent number 1 pick in the NBA Draft. I see a lot of Grant Hill in his game. Due to Grant Hill being the same height and having the same style of play. You could also say a Small Ben Simmons with a better basketball IQ and a better shot.
